DAC connection solution:

①100G QSFP28DAC direct connection: Both ends have 100G interfaces, which are suitable for stacking and direct connection between short-distance 100G devices, and are used in the same rack;

②100G QSFP28DAC connection 4*SFP28 DAC: suitable for interconnection between 100G and 25G devices, one end is 100G interface, the other end is 4 25G interfaces, supporting distance range of 1m-5m;

③40G QSFP+DAC direct connection: Both ends are 40G interfaces, suitable for stacking and interconnection between short-distance 40G devices, and the maximum transmission distance is 7M;

④40G QSFP+DAC connection 4*SFP+ DAC: It is suitable for the interconnection between 40G and 10G devices. One end is a 40G interface, and the other end is 4 10G interfaces, and the maximum transmission distance can reach 7M.

AOC connection solution:

①100G QSFP AOC direct connection: Both ends are 100G interfaces, using OM3 optical fiber for transmission distance of 70m, and OM4 optical fiber for transmission of 100m;

②100G QSFP28AOC connection 4*SFP28 AOC: suitable for the interconnection between 100G and 25G equipment, one end is 100G interface, and the other end is 4 25G interfaces;

③40G QSFP+AOC direct connection: Both ends are 40G interfaces, using OM3 optical fiber transmission, suitable for the interconnection of 40G equipment within 100m;

④40G QSFP+AOC connection 4*SFP+AOC: suitable for the interconnection between 40G and 10G equipment, using OM3 optical fiber transmission, one end is a 40G interface, and the other end is 4 10G interfaces.

In practical applications, DAC high-speed cables are recommended for distances of 1-5M, AOC active optical cables are recommended for 7-100M, and optical modules and optical cables are recommended for connections above 100M.
